Who we are
Alright Dev is a software and IT business based in Central Oregon, United States. For anything in this policy, write to legal@alrightdev.com.
What we collect
When you send us a message through this website, we receive the name, email address and message you type into the form. We keep it so we can reply and keep a record of the work we discussed.
If you create a client account, we also hold the details you enter on your profile, along with your invoices and any calls you book.
We count visits to each page so we know which parts of the site are useful. This count does not store your IP address or set a tracking cookie, and it cannot be traced back to you.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you sign in to a client account, we set a single cookie that keeps you signed in. Signing out removes it.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to you, deliver and support the work you have asked for, send invoices and receipts, and keep records we are required to keep.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Who else sees it
Some of it passes through the services we use to run the business: our server host, our email provider, and PayPal when you pay an invoice. Each of them only receives what that job needs. PayPal handles card and account details directly; we never see or store your card number.
How long we keep it
Messages and project records are kept while we are working together and for as long afterwards as we may need them for tax, accounting or legal reasons. Billing records are generally kept for seven years. You can ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to legal@alrightdev.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you have a client account, you can edit or remove most of your profile yourself.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, accounts are protected by passwords we store only as hashes, and administrative access requires two-step verification. No system is perfect, but we treat your information as if it were our own.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes will be mentioned on the site.
